THE FIRST RESTOMOD BOAT
Giving new life to a historic boat, deliberately moving away from the canons of originality, is anything but trivial. Our works are more or less faithful to the original "spirit", enhancing the spirit of these old ladies, but making them literally adrenaline-pumping in their reinterpretations by performing only interventions that are all noteworthy.
RESTORATION OR RESTOMOD? - There are those who restore the boats of the past to the nines, jumping through hoops to find only spare parts and components of the time or in any case conforming to the originals. And then there are those who, in restoring that kind of boat to its former glory, with the same passion and the same zeal adopt a much less "conservative" approach, often allowing themselves more than a few "artistic" licenses. Over the last few years, this second category of professionals in the sector has given rise to the phenomenon
of the restomod, an Anglo-Saxon term with which, now all over the world, enthusiasts identify the rebirth projects, normally of a vintage vehicle, but which we have applied with attention and passion in the world of pleasure boating, deliberately distancing ourselves from the canons of classic restoration, but totally modernizing icons of the sea with the most recent and innovative technologies applied to pleasure boating.
