Owner speaks : I bought my Oceanis 41 in 2013 to undertake a transatlantic crossing, the highlight of an offshore sailing programme that took us to the Isles of Scilly, Ireland, Madeira, the Canary Islands, Martinique and the Azores (twice)
I have decided to sell it because, given our age, my wife and I now intend to focus on inshore sailing in Brittany with a smaller boat.
My Oceanis 41 is fitted out for offshore cruising.
It is very seaworthy, very safe and comfortable.
The standard sail plan and auxiliary sails (gennaker and staysail) allow the boat to be handled effectively in all wind conditions.
