The Monte Carlo 42 features a complete electrical installation providing full autonomy, both at anchor and at berth.

Power generation and distribution
The 6.5 kVA generator, recently fitted with new batteries, supplies the entire vessel independently. The circuit is split between 220 V and 12 V distribution, complemented by a shore power connection for mains hook-up in port. A battery charger ensures the bank is permanently maintained.

Comfort and climate control
Reversible air conditioning covers both cabins — cooling in summer, heating in winter. An electric water heater completes the sanitary installation, supplying both bathrooms.

Manoeuvring equipment
The electric bow thruster and electric windlass considerably ease manoeuvres in harbour and at anchor. Electric trim tabs allow the running attitude to be adjusted underway.

Navigation electronics

Decking
