Engines
Two Volvo Penta D4-300 DP engines of 300 horsepower each (2 x 220 kW), totalling 600 horsepower, in inboard diesel configuration with DuoProp sterndrives. These turbocharged inline 4-cylinder blocks are recognised for their smoothness, quiet operation and fuel efficiency — the Gran Turismo 36 is one of the most economical boats in its category.

Engine hours
Only 140 hours on a 2023 model — an exceptionally low figure, reflecting very moderate use over two seasons. The engines are practically new.

Performance
Cruising speed of 24 knots, top speed of 32 to 33 knots. The boat comes onto the plane in around ten seconds and reaches top speed in 25 seconds, with no vibration or excessive noise thanks to particularly careful soundproofing of the engine compartment.

Fuel consumption and range
Approximately 50 to 65 L/h at cruising speed, 12 to 18 L/h at economical displacement speed of 10 knots. With an 800 L tank, range reaches 280 to 350 nautical miles when cruising — a remarkable figure for a 12-metre boat.

Manoeuvrability
The Volvo Penta joystick, combined with the bow thruster, delivers exceptional manoeuvrability in harbour. Leaving a berth, even a tight one, is handled intuitively using the joystick alone. Electric power-assisted steering makes the helm precise and the boat highly responsive underway.

Automatic trim
