The Dufour 485 Grand Large is a true bluewater cruising yacht designed for comfortable and safe offshore sailing. This 4 double cabin and 4 bathroom owner’s version offers generous interior volumes, excellent circulation on board and a perfect balance between sailing performance and onboard comfort.
 
Launched in 2008, this second-hand yacht has benefited from constant and meticulous maintenance throughout its life. Her previous owner completed numerous offshore passages in the Mediterranean, demonstrating the boat’s reliability and serious preparation for long-distance cruising. Today, this Dufour 485 Grand Large is presented in very good overall condition and is ready to sail immediately for a new cruising or liveaboard program.
 
Built in fiberglass with a monolithic hull and balsa sandwich deck construction, she combines strength and rigidity. With an overall length of 14.75 m, a beam of 4.70 m and a deep keel draft of 2.25 m, she delivers excellent seaworthiness and strong sailing performance. The yacht is CE Category A Offshore certified.
 
The yacht is powered by a Volvo D2-75C engine delivering 75 HP with Volvo 150S transmission. The engine currently has approximately 8,500 hours and benefits from regular maintenance with good operating condition.
 
The rigging and sails have also been carefully maintained. The mast is in good condition, masthead sheaves were replaced in 2025 and the mainsail halyard in 2024. Standing rigging was replaced in 2015 and inspected in March 2025. Winches were serviced in 2025 and the electric winch received a new drum the same year. Sail inventory includes a 2020 mainsail in good condition, serviced genoa, storm jib, symmetrical spinnaker and heavy cloth gennaker.
