The MAGNUM 38 underwent a thorough general refit completed in 2024, that began in 2022 and included: complete refitting and painting of both hull and superstructure with Dupont paint; replacement of the engines, exhaust systems, and all seacocks; removal of the shaft line and installation of a Top System surface drive; new electrical system (lighting, windlass, galley, pumps, refrigerator, bathrooms); new interior and exterior upholstery; new instrumentation; complete reconstruction of both interior and exterior furniture; new bathing platform; new swim ladder; replacement of all piping and carbon poles for the bimini top; replacement of all gaskets; re-chroming of all stainless steel parts; and a new stereo system.
