The First 30 JK is one of the most accomplished racer-cruisers of her generation. Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, with twin rudders and tiller steering, she pairs a lively, rewarding feel under sail with a fully fitted interior suited to family cruising. This example is a well-cared-for unit, Monaco-registered since 2015, VAT paid and free of lease or encumbrance.
 
Ready to sail
 
At 9.81 m with a 21 hp Yanmar 3YM20 on sail-drive (approx. 700 hours, around 3 l/h consumption), she is available for immediate coastal cruising or racing. All halyards and sheets are led aft to clutches in the cockpit, served by four Harken two-speed self-tailing winches. Dyneema halyards and sheets renewed in 2024.
 
An exceptional sail wardrobe: two complete sets
 
This is the boat’s standout asset. The primary Delta Voiles set (2018) includes a 35 m² cruising mainsail with reduced square head, tri-radial cut in DCX laminated polyester, full-batten with five battens and three reefs, together with a 29.51 m² furling genoa on a Vortex system featuring double tri-radial cut, battened leech, luff hollow compensation and UV strip. The original North Sails set (full-batten Dacron main and medium genoa) remains available as a second wardrobe.
 
Also included: an as-new asymmetric spinnaker with snuffer, a Delta Voiles Code D on a Karver furler in very good condition, and an unused storm jib — a sail inventory rarely found on a boat of this size.
 
Comfort and equipment
 
Two cabins and four berths, saloon in light oak Alpi finish, galley with sink, cooker and 12 V refrigeration, heads with WC, black-water tank and three-way valve. Hot and cold water via a 25 l calorifier (electric and engine-fed). 220 V shore power, Cristec 40 A charger, two Exide Gel AGM 70 Ah service batteries new in 2025.
 
Navigation and safety
 
Raymarine P70 tiller pilot in perfect working order with remote (new battery), wireless Tacktick instruments and multifunction repeaters all fully operational, RO 4800 VHF with AIS, DSC VHF linked to GPS, electric windlass with remote. Offshore 24 h self-righting liferaft, serviced 2025.
 
For full transparency, part of the original electronics (tri-data pack, Raymarine E7 plotter, i70 repeater) requires servicing or replacement — reflected in the asking price.
