Launched in 2016, this Lagoon 42 comes in the sought-after owner’s version: one full hull dedicated to the master suite with its own heads and separate shower, the guest cabins occupying the second hull. Designed by VPLP, she offers the living volumes of a cruising catamaran on a 12.80 by 7.70 metre platform, certified CE category A. Second owner, she has been prepared by her current owners for living aboard and cruising independently.
Several key areas have been renewed recently. The engines underwent a major service in 2026 including heat exchanger replacement and sail drive seal overhaul, two jobs that determine long-term reliability. The trampolines have been replaced with a new black set, and the seat cushions were re-upholstered this year. The boat therefore comes with her main wear points already addressed.
Power comes from twin Yanmar engines on sail drives, with approximately 2,200 hours. The aluminium-masted sloop rig carries a mainsail on lazy bag and a furling genoa, all handled from the raised helm station within reach of the winches and clutches.
The cockpit is sheltered by a hard top covering the entire outdoor living area. It is laid in teak, as are the side decks, and extended aft by a stainless steel arch fitted with davits. The tender is carried there permanently with its outboard on a dedicated bracket, leaving the sugar scoops free for water access. Forward, the new trampolines and foredeck open a second lounging area, served by an electric windlass.
The interior centres on a bright through-saloon with corner settee, saloon table and flat screen television. The galley sits in line with it, fitted with a hob, built-in oven and stainless steel sink on a dark worktop. Two metres of headroom and panoramic windows give the space uncommon brightness for this size of boat.
Navigation electronics are by B&G, with a multifunction chartplotter at the helm, repeater displays, autopilot and steering compass. The electrical panel and battery monitor are grouped at the top of the companionway. The owners have further equipped her with a solar array, a battery bank sized for autonomy, a watermaker and a satellite internet link, all fitted with extended time at anchor in mind.
The hot water circuit, pressurised water unit and service systems are accessible from the technical lockers. The boat sails under French flag. Full details of the added equipment and work carried out are available on request.
