Safety & Stability at Sea: A Major Asset
One of the most convincing arguments of the NEEL 47 is its remarkable stability. Thanks to an optimised beam and the centering of the weights on the central hull, it offers much safer seamanship than a catamaran, especially in rough seas. On a NEEL trimaran, the critical angle of heel is only reached at around 27°, whereas a catamaran reaches its limit from 12°, making sailing more reassuring and controlled even in difficult conditions.
Its handling is also smoother: rolling movements are limited, guaranteeing optimal comfort, even on long journeys on the high seas.
Performance: a multihull built for speed
NEEL trimarans dominate the competition when it comes to real cruising performance. The NEEL 47 regularly sails at around 10 knots, covering more than 200 miles in 24 hours – with peaks of 15–18 knots when the wind picks up.
Its rigging structure inspired by ocean racing allows for exceptional upwind performance thanks to the excellent rigidity of the forestay. The trimaran also tacks with an ease comparable to that of a monohull, which reinforces the pleasure and control of the boat.
Simplified manoeuvring for a small crew
All manoeuvres are grouped together at the helm, ensuring comfort and efficiency both at sail and at anchor. Easier solo sailing, a choice of classic or carbon performance rigs, three sails as standard and up to three headsails possible: everything is there for versatile and serene use.
The accessibility of the helm station and the 360° visibility further enhance ergonomics and safety on board.

With 93 m² of living space, including 15 m² dedicated to technical areas, the NEEL 47 offers one of the best use of space on the market.

The structure has been studied with specialists in the construction of high-performance multihulls in order to optimise strength while limiting unnecessary weight.
The technical areas are well organized and easily accessible, with large storage volumes suitable for long sailing.
