Beneteau Antares 11 for sale
The Yachting Address Review — Bénéteau Antares 11
The Antares 11 is the boat that convinced thousands of French families that a truly habitable weekender did not require crossing into the 12-meter category.
That is its fundamental achievement — and it is considerable. By remaining under 11 meters overall length in its main versions, the Antares 11 allows owners to access marina berths and harbor categories often unavailable to 12-meter boats, benefit from lower mooring fees and maneuver with an agility larger units simply cannot offer anymore. Yet inside, it regularly delivers the onboard living space of boats one size above.
That equation — 12-meter habitability within an 11-meter footprint — is what made the Antares 11 such a commercial success since the launch of the OB version in 2018. It also explains why the used market for this model is among the most active in the French motorboat segment between €200,000 and €320,000.
The three Antares 11 versions: understand before searching
This is the central point most listings oversimplify and the source of the most common buyer confusion. The Antares 11 exists in three architecturally distinct versions, with different lengths, prices and intended uses. Searching for “used Antares 11” without understanding the differences often leads buyers to inspect boats completely unsuited to their expectations.
The Antares 11 OB is the reference version — the most sold and the most common on the used market. At 10.20 meters overall length and powered by twin outboards from 200 to 300 hp, it represents the quintessential family weekender of the range. Two enclosed cabins, a bright saloon, enclosed wheelhouse and generous cockpit — this is the version that built the model’s reputation. Most active listings concern 2019–2023 twin 250–300 hp versions, generally priced between €195,000 and €280,000.
The Antares 11 Coupé represents a significant architectural evolution. The roofline is raised by roughly 25 cm compared with the standard OB version, dramatically improving standing headroom in both the saloon and cabins. Inside a Coupé, standing upright everywhere feels effortless — a level of comfort the standard OB version delivered less generously. It is the version gaining value most strongly on the recent market and increasingly recognized as the logical evolution of the model. Coupé versions from 2020–2023 typically trade between €210,000 and €295,000.
The Antares 11 Fly is the most ambitious proposition — a full flybridge positioned above the wheelhouse, adding an entirely new exterior living area with helm station and lounge seating. Overall length rises to between 11.08 and 11.16 meters depending on configuration, and recent used examples start around €240,000, reaching €320,000 for well-equipped 2022–2024 units. It is the choice for owners wanting panoramic visibility while cruising and additional outdoor living space at anchor. The compromise: a higher center of gravity, slightly increased sensitivity to roll in light swell and higher maintenance costs due to additional onboard systems.
What the used market really says
Antares 11 models sell quickly and are rarely heavily negotiated — a very clear sign of a boat satisfying its owners and facing demand that regularly exceeds supply. Average depreciation over four to five years remains limited to roughly 20–25% on well-equipped twin 300 hp versions, one of the strongest performances in this price category.
What truly increases resale value: twin 300 hp engines (Suzuki DF300AMD, Mercury 300 V8 or Honda BF300), joystick maneuvering systems (which drastically simplify harbor operations for inexperienced crews), recent electronics with at least a 12-inch chartplotter and reversible air conditioning in both wheelhouse and cabins.
What tends to slow down a sale: twin 200 hp engines on heavily loaded family configurations, the absence of joystick controls on Fly versions or outdated electronics untouched for three or four years.
Engine options: what listings rarely explain properly
The Antares 11 has been sold with several engine brands depending on market and production year — Suzuki, Mercury, Honda and Yamaha — and the boating experience differs noticeably between them.
Suzuki DF300AMD and DF350AMD engines are the benchmark on the French market — quiet, progressive and backed by excellent reliability and after-sales feedback.
Mercury V8 300 hp engines (Verado or DTS) are slightly sharper in acceleration and benefit from an excellent service network.
Honda BF300 engines are less common but highly respected for mechanical reliability and quiet operation.
Yamaha F300 engines are frequently found on boats imported through UK and Italian dealer networks.
Regardless of brand, always demand full maintenance records and invoices — annual servicing on twin 300 hp setups is non-negotiable, including impeller replacement intervals and anode inspections during every haul-out. A twin 300 hp setup that skipped maintenance for two consecutive years can immediately generate €3,000–€6,000 in catch-up servicing costs.

Antares 11 vs Merry Fisher 1095: the real comparison
The comparison is unavoidable — both boats have competed directly since 2018 with remarkably similar dimensions, pricing and onboard living concepts.
The Merry Fisher 1095 is slightly longer (10.50 m) and offers a three-cabin layout with a somewhat different interior organization. Its wheelhouse sits slightly higher, and Jeanneau’s dealer network in France is particularly dense.
Its historical limitation is the absence of a true flybridge version comparable to the Antares 11 Fly — the Merry Fisher 1095 exists in only one architecture, limiting options for buyers specifically seeking a flybridge cruiser.
The Antares 11 wins on saloon brightness, modern exterior styling and the diversity of versions available. It loses slightly in service-network density outside major coastal cities, where Jeanneau dealers are sometimes more established than Bénéteau dealers.
The right choice between the two is made onboard, after sea trials on both boats — not from reading brochures.
Our verdict
The Antares 11 is one of the most successful family weekenders introduced on the French market in the last decade. It defined the standards of its category in terms of onboard living and comfort, and the used market confirms that reality through strong resale values and short selling times. For families wanting to cruise comfortably for several days without major compromises, it remains one of the strongest references in this price range.
