Sun Fast 36 (1993), 3-cabin version, in very good overall condition. Privately owned since 2000, never chartered and never grounded. A fast, seaworthy and well-balanced cruiser-racer, ideal for performance cruising as well as offshore sailing.
Powered by a Yanmar 3GM30F with approximately 4,230 engine hours, fitted with a MaxProp folding three-blade propeller, improving maneuverability and efficiency both under power and under sail.
Strong deck hardware for easy handling, including wheel steering, 4 Harken winches and a 1000W electric windlass. A recent tender is included, together with a 3HP outboard engine.
High-end sail wardrobe with Dyneema-reinforced tri-radial mainsail and genoa, plus a complete selection of additional headsails for all conditions (solent, heavy-weather jibs, storm sail), and two spinnakers (symmetric and asymmetric). Removable inner forestay with quick-adjust wheel turnbuckle for versatile sail plans. Lazy bag and genoa cover are almost new.
Navigation/communication includes a B&G autopilot and a brand-new VHF with integrated GPS. Existing electronics are basic/dated and the price has been reduced to allow the new owner to choose and install the preferred modern equipment.
