After the great successes of the Solaris 47, 48, and 50, it was necessary to consider possible improvements. Solaris Yachts and Javier Soto Acebal concluded that it was necessary to increase and move back the beam to equip the new 50’ with two rudders. Steering in the breeze thus becomes child's play.
This new rear volume is also used to create a watertight tender garage, usable longitudinally, which is rare on a unit of this size.
The location of the steering positions has also been optimized: being set back and spaced apart, the helmsman thus has a better field of vision, despite the clutter of the possible roof hood.
It was important to pamper the fine helmsmen on a racer with such a good weight-power ratio! Especially since with a Weldox keel and a carbon mast, there is plenty to achieve great performances...
The vacuum-infused sandwich construction, the structural bulkheads in composite laminated in one piece to the hull and deck, the ultra-rigorous keel attachment method, will once again contribute to the rigidity, flawless solidity at the best weight that makes the unshakable reputation of Solaris Yachts.
Particular attention is paid to the interior finish details, especially in the saloon and the owner's cabin, which comes in two versions. At the rear, we can offer a variant to adapt to various family formats.
