Mandatory Fields

When filling out your boat information for listings on our site, five fields are mandatory:

• Type: What type of boat is it?
• Brand: Who is the manufacturer of the boat?
• Model: What is the exact model of the boat?
• Name: The brand and model of the boat (e.g., "Beneteau Oceanis 45").
• Marketing Type
• Condition: What is the condition of the boat?

All other fields are optional, but it's advisable to fill in as much information as possible to make your listing more comprehensive and attractive.

Marketing Types

• Sale: The boat is visible online on YachtingAddress.
• Imported: The boat is in your list but not visible online.
• Archived: The boat is no longer visible online but can be reinstated at any time.

If a type or brand is missing, let us know so we can add it.

"Name" Field

The "Name" field is crucial for listing display.
It should contain the brand and model of the boat, for example, "Beneteau Oceanis 45". This name appears in bold on boat thumbnails and is used to filter results by brand and model.
By clearly stating the brand and model, you ensure better visibility of your listing in search results.

"Description" Field

The "Description" field is located in the "Marketing" section and is the most important for your listings. This description will be highlighted below the technical specifications in listings and brochures.

Photos

• Main Photo: This is the thumbnail image of the boat visible in the listings. This photo will also appear large on your listing page.
• Additional Photos: You can add all your photos by dragging and dropping them into the additional photo field. You can rearrange these photos to set their display order on your listing.
