Like all the boats designed by Niels Jeppesen, the X 442 produced by XYachts from 1993 to 2003 in 127 units has been designed as an optimal synthesis between sailing performance and interior comfort.
6 winches and the "German-style" split mainsheet circuit are some of the competitive solutions adopted on this cabin cruiser, fast in all gaits and with strong upwind skills.
The oversized rudder wheel dominates the cockpit; The deckhouse is low and elongated.
The interior is upholstered in teak. The seat of the semicircular saloon is placed on the left, in front of the galley on the side and the well-equipped chart table.
